These terms apply to the summaq.com website operated by SummaQ. The handling of your personal data is governed by our privacy notice.
2. The site and services
The site presents SummaQ's consulting, implementation, audit and training services, educational content and a Resources section with free tools and guides. Professional services are contracted separately, through a proposal and written agreement.
3. Tools and guides are informational
Please read carefully
- The tools, diagnostics, calculators and guides are informational and indicative.
- They are not professional advice, an audit, an opinion or a statement of compliance.
- They are not a certification and do not guarantee that your organization complies with a standard or will pass a certification audit.
- Using them does not create a consulting engagement between you and SummaQ.
- Results depend on the information you enter; incomplete or inaccurate answers produce unhelpful results.
- Estimates and scenarios are illustrative, not predictions or commitments of savings or outcomes.
Before making significant decisions (investments, contracts, certification), validate the results with qualified professionals and the official text of the applicable standards.
4. Intellectual property
The texts, designs, questions, assessment structures, logos and other content on the site belong to SummaQ or are used with permission. You may read them and share links for personal or internal use in your organization; you may not copy, resell them or use them to build competing products without written permission.
The names and texts of standards such as ISO, IATF and AS belong to their respective owners. The site mentions and paraphrases them for information only, without reproducing them; to apply them, obtain the official text.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- submit false information, or information that belongs to others and that you have no right to share;
- use automated means to submit forms or scrape content in bulk;
- attempt to breach the site's security or interfere with its operation;
- use the site for unlawful purposes.
6. Information you enter
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter in the tools. Calculations run in your browser; we only receive your result summary if you request a report by email. Avoid entering third parties' personal data or confidential information. If you use the option to send the report to a colleague, you state that you may share their email with us for that single send and that they would reasonably expect or accept the report; the message says you sent it and contains no advertising.
7. Third-party links
The site may link to third-party sites. We do not control their content or policies and are not responsible for them.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site and its tools are provided "as is" and as available. To the extent permitted by law, SummaQ does not warrant that the content is error-free or fit for a particular purpose, and will not be liable for indirect damages, lost profits or opportunities arising from use of, or inability to use, the site, or for decisions made based on tool results.
9. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For their interpretation and enforcement the parties submit to the competent courts of Tijuana, Baja California, waiving any other venue that might apply.

We may change these terms; the current version, with its date, is always on this page. Continued use of the site means you accept the changes.
